Happy New Year!
Happy New Year everyone….almost here and at the rate I am getting to this blog lately, I better go ahead and extend this greeting now!
Want to let you know about a fundraiser that we are part of in January on Saturday, Jan 28th at Old Crow Tavern in Sandy Springs, Ga. 100 Wheels, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing mobility to disabled American Veterans, 25 wheelchairs (100 wheels) at at time. We should know our time-slot soon and sure would appreciate you coming out to support this great cause and listen to some pretty good music….and a variety of bands as well!
Thankful? Yes we are.
Even though the feast is over (although there are leftovers being served for dinner tonight) it is never to late to let folks know that they are a wonderful gift.
Thank you to all of you who support and listen to our music…in this big old world of talented people and the technology to get your music out there, we feel very blessed that you took the time to find us, listen to us and give us your time and ears. We are so grateful for you! We would probably continue to make this thing called music without you, but God knows it wouldn’t be the same…creating and birthing a song means so much more when it is shared and received.
As the next big holiday approaches we continue to work on finishing this new record. With the exception of a pulled muscle in Laura’s leg (football game on Thanksgiving) we are being diligent and working hard. Our goal continues to be to get this done and out by the end of Jan 2012! New songs and some (we hope)favorites will be on this one….we are liking how it’s coming together…
We wish everyone the best of the season, Christmas for us, but whatever you celebrate we hope it is merry and wonderful.
