Falling Into Place!

September has arrived and we are anxious to feel the crisp Fall air and wrap ourselves into the flavor of Autumn…..music, comfort food, good people hanging out and chilly crisp weather…. Yesterday found us sweltering in the Sept heat, though.  Delightfully so….we played at Hillbilly Palooza on the grounds of Music On Main. First a word about the one day music festival…Diesel Calhoun hosted the event and put together a varied and talented line-up of musicians….we were happy to be included in the days events....

Great Things Happen When You Least Expect It!

On the grand scale of things….it’s probably not that great to anyone but me, but I am so excited that my little sister, Anne, will be moving back to the South(where she really does belong).  Life has lots of journeys and she has had quite a few exciting and exotic ones….but this move will be, I hope, the best.  So fingers crossed and high hopes and all that jazz for a great transition and a great job for her….she is open to trying anything.  After over 30 yrs in the Textile and design industry she is open to all...

As promised here is the link!

Thrilled to post the link to our new video, Appalachia Goodbye…hope you enjoy it…. This original song tells the story of tradition, hard work, perseverance, faith and beauty so evident in the Appalachia mountains. The video captures all of this as well as a sense of history that we hope will continue to be known as time touches and changes things. Filmed in the North Ga mountains at Foxfire Museum the setting creates a perfect idyllic imagery for our story….almost too perfect in fact…there is one message in the video...
